And topic for today's post is Constipation which is the problem of many people.

We'll discuss in this post about why constipation happens

And what are the negative effects on body because of this

And yes. I'll share 4 such home remedies which will be very helpful for your constipation problem.

Let's start our post 

Before going forward in this post  let's know what constipation is

It is a normal process of the body in which it excretes out the waste products as stool on a daily basis

But, if the body is able to excrete this stool less than 3 times in a week

that means you are suffering from constipation.

What happens is, when food goes through your digestive track, then the nutrients absorb over there

After that, the semi liquid form moves from small to large intestine.

large intestine absorb the water there and the remaining waste product is known as stool.

If you have constipation, in that case the food moves very slowly in your digestive track

Because of which large intestine gets more time and it absorbs more water

Because of which stool becomes solid and hard and it becomes difficult to excrete it out.

There may be many reasons of constipation.

Lack of water, lack of fiber, medication, irregular sleep, sedentary lifestyle, stress,

excessive intake of milk and cheese, change in routine, pregnancy, and underlying disease.

If you are suffering from constipation from a time then you'll feel very tired,

hair and skin will be damaged, acidity will be there and you may have ulcers as well,

Your weight will start gaining and if it will not be cured with time then your liver and

other internal organs may also get damaged.

Now let's discuss about 4 home remedies which will help you to get rid of constipation.

Just remember, you should use one remedy at a time.

For 1st home remedy, you need cumin seeds, ajwain, whole coriander,

black salt, turmeric, dry ginger and mint powder.

In a pan, take 2 spoons of cumin seeds, 2 spoons of ajwain and 1 spoon whole coriander and roast it a bit.

On cooling down, grind it and make it's powder.

Now add half spoon black salt, half spoon turmeric, 1 spoon dry ginger and 1 spoon mint powder.

Consume this powder just before sleeping in the night.

For which take a glass of hot water, add 1 spoon of this powder and mix it well.

Keep it for 10 minutes and then consume it on cooling down.

You can see the changes right after 4-5 days of consuming this

In which, your constipation problem will be solved and digestive system will become stronger.

For the 2nd home remedy, you need proones and castor oil.

Take 4-5 proones in a bowl add 1 spoon castor oil in it

And add one fourth cup of hot water in it and leave it for 10-15 minutes.

After that mash proones in that water

You can also store this mixture for 2-3 days in refrigerator.

For best results, consume it with lukewarm water in the night before sleeping.

Proones contains sorbitol which is a sugar alcohol which have lexative effect.

And castor oil is also a lexative that's why this remedy is so much effective for constipation.

For 3rd home remedy which you can try, you need ginger and mint leaves.

Take a cup of water in the pan, add grated ginger and mint leaves in it.

Now boil it for 5 minutes and filter in a cup.

Make this and consume 2 times a day.

Ginger is also called warming herb because of which, heat increases in your body

And you get relief in constipation and mint leaves are very good for your digestion.

For making 4th home remedy, the ingredients required are castor oil, lime juice and salt

Add half spoon lime juice in 1 glass lukewarm water, pinch of salt and 1 spoon castor oil.

For best results, consume this empty stomach in the morning.

As I told you, castor oil is a lexative with that lime contains citric acid which removes toxins from your body.

That's why, you'll see it's effect faster after drinking it.

Along with these remedies, you should follow some points in day to day life so that

Your digestive system remains strong and you'd never face constipation.

Avoid chilled water as much as you can, properly chew your food, avoid refrigerated food,

manage your stress, eat more whole grains, consume ajwain,

drink turmeric milk before sleeping, avoid tea and coffee

If possible then consume water kept in copper jug and whichever

fruits or vegetables can be eaten with peel, eat those.

Don't use any remedy for a long time.
