7 habits of successful people

Today we'll talk about

These are some typical habits that are usually a part of everyone's life.

But if you avoid these habits,

then I assure you'll feel happy, healthy and additionally active during the day.

So, let's see what are those habits which, when avoided

can increase productivity throughout the day.

So, the first habit that we all should avoid is

Keeping Multiple Alarms and Hitting the Snooze Button.

One of my habits was

when I used to put an alarm for waking up early before sleeping,

I used to keep 3 Alarms.

So, what happens is whenever you hit the snooze button.

You enter into a new sleep cycle which is never completed.

Due to which your brain remains disoriented

and remains confused throughout the day.

And when your brain will not have the clarity

then you'll feel less energetic and won't be able to do your work properly.

So, try to start your day with the first alarm only.

Initially, you'll find it a bit difficult.

But, as soon as you get used to it.

you'll feel more energetic.

and your clarity of thoughts will eventually become better too.

The second habit that we all should avoid is

Checking your phone right after waking up.

I am sure many of you will agree to this.

that right after waking up the first thing we do is check our phone.

be it for social media or checking work emails.

So, we should not do this.

Because checking your phone increases your stress and anxiety levels.

which adversely affects your health.

and the whole day you'll feel awful.

So, you are unable to do any work productively.

And sometimes we don't even realize that we

waste 30-40 mins unnecessarily because of checking our phone after waking up.

So, try to keep your phone in some other room before sleeping.

So that your hand doesn't automatically reach to check the phone after waking up.

One of my suggestions is -

Instead of checking your phone

You can rather read any book after waking up.

Which should have motivational or inspirational content.

from that along with learning,

you'll be able to start your day on a positive note.

The third thing that we should avoid is

Drinking Tea/Coffee first thing in the morning.

Many of us have this habit

of waking up to a Tea/Coffee cup.

I agree that this immediately wakes us up.

But sometimes we don't realize this may lead to Gastric and acidic problems.

and our gut health is affected.

So we should not do this.

The first thing that you should have after waking up

is a glass of lukewarm water.

Drinking water keeps your hydration levels better because

when you sleep

your body doesn't get water for 6-7 Hours.

and it gives you a great kickstart to your metabolism

If you want to make this more beneficial

then you may add a little bit of amla and aloe vera juice to the lukewarm water.

which will give you added advantage.

All the toxins in your body will flush out.

And your gut health will also be maintained.

Due to this, your overall Digestive System will be sustained.

So you'll feel more healthy and energetic throughout the day.

Fourth Habit that can affect your day

is Not taking enough sunlight in the morning.

Now, many people wake up a little late.

and because of that, they are in a hurry

As a result of which, moving out is far away

they don't even undraw the curtains of their room.

So what happens is our mind and body are confused if it is still night?

and it fails to become active.

Secondly, the lack of Natural Sunlight

leads to lower levels of Vitamin D in our body.

Because of which you feel lethargic.

So, what should you do about this?

For this, you should try waking up early in the morning.

So that you have some spare time.

You should go out for some Natural Sunlight after waking up.

By which, Firstly, this will improve your Vitamin D levels

and you'll feel energetic.

and your stress hormones will remain suppressed.

So you'll feel happy.

The fifth Habit is Not moving your body.

I understand that many people have a busy lifestyle.

Due to which they are unable to do any Physical Activity in the Morning.

But in the morning it is really important to do some stretching or light exercises.

Because when we sleep, fluid accumulation ensues in our spinal disc.

Due to which your body has a little stiffness in the morning.

So, if you do some stretching or light exercises.

then the fluid expands...

and improves your mobility.

So, you can choose exercises like deep squats and cobra stretch for yourselves

Here, I would like to give you one more piece of advice.

Along with the exercises, you must also do meditation for 10-15 minutes.

You are not required to do any technical.

You just have to practice breathing.

This will help your mind remain calm.

Clarity of thoughts will become much better

and you'll feel relaxed.

and if you're unable to do any of these things

So, you can go for a 15-20 minutes walk in the morning.

This will not only improve your health

but your day will also gain a productive kickstart.

The sixth habit is taking a hot shower

Many people have the habit of taking a hot shower in the morning,

because they feel comfortable.

A Hot shower makes your body and muscles much more relaxed.

Your heart rate also descends.

Due to which instead of feeling active, you feel sleepy and lethargic

A Hot shower mitigates the Natural Body Moisture as well.

So, you should take a Cold Shower in the morning after waking up.

A Cold Shower helps in releasing Happy Hormones in your body.

Which helps you feel active throughout the day, and even makes your mood happy.

Along with this, you can do one extra thing which will surely benefit you

You should massage your body with olive oil for 10-15 minutes before taking a shower.

Many people have this problem of stretch marks

Massaging will help in fading the stretch marks.

It also improves your blood flow.

Which will make you feel energetic throughout the day.

The last habit that we are discussing is

Skipping your Breakfast.

Many of you skip your breakfast in a hurry.

Which in turn makes your metabolism slow.

And your body fat starts increasing.

Even if many people do their breakfast, they choose easy items.

Like packed juices, cereals, etc.

All these things contain artificial sugar.

And sugar intake immediately spikes our insulin levels.

Which makes you feel active.

But as soon as the Insulin level drops,

Your body again craves sugar.

And you're stuck in that vicious circle.

So, you should take some time out for breakfast and calmly have your breakfast.

You should choose a healthy option for yourself

Here, I would like to give you a bit of advice that

Oats is one of the best breakfast options.

You can either boil it in water or milk

Or add Vegetables, Fruits, Dry Fruits and have it in any form.

These options will provide you with energy for a longer duration of time.

You'll feel less tired and feel active and energetic throughout the day.
